The grooming area is available for wandering through and observing the handlers getting their exhibits ready for the show rings. You can often get tips for keeping your own dog looking his best.

Always ask permission before touching or petting the dogs. Most dogs are generally friendly and enjoy being handled however if they are startled or frightened they can react adversely. Handlers who have spent the last several hours getting their exhibit just right for the judge may not be impressed if you disturb their handiwork.

If you are considering getting a purebred dog, talk to the breeders and exhibitors. They are experts on their breeds and are a wealth of knowledge regarding their breed's suitablity for the pet owner.

Feel free to visit the snack bar in the next room and bring back food or beverages to watch the show.
